What is a reusable ID?
Confirming who you are online can be repetitive and frustrating. With a Reusable ID you confirm who you are just once with a UK-government certified identity service and can then share it again and again wherever you see
With Select ID you can choose which UK-government certified identity service to confirm your identity with. If you don’t have a passport or a driving license, that’s fine! Use the documents that you have available to you.
How does it work?
Back to Provider - phone screen 4(1)
1. Allows you to select from a choice of ID providers
2. You then use the ID provider to confirm who you are
3. You agree to share relevant details
4. You are returned to the original site to finish signing up
