Confirming who you are online can be repetitive and frustrating. With a Reusable ID you confirm who you are just once with your choice of identity service (which is independently certified against government rules for digital identity services) and can then share it again and again wherever you see

With Select ID you can choose which identity service to confirm your identity with. If you don’t have a passport or a driving license, that’s fine! Use the documents that you have available to you.

How does it work?

1. Allows you to select from a choice of ID providers
2. You then use the ID provider to confirm who you are
3. You agree to share relevant details
4. You are returned to the original site to finish signing up

Selecting a Reusable ID provider

Many of you will be getting a Reusable ID for the first time through               .

Each listed ID service offers a summary of the document types that they support. You can choose the ID service based on the documents that you have available.

Once you have verified your identity with the ID service of your choice the documents that you used (and the information taken directly from those documents) will be saved and can be shared when you wish (but won't be shared unless you agree and can be deleted late if you wish).

This makes it more convenient and faster for sharing your details the next time you see               .

Select ID is an ID service network but we are not an ID service ourselves. If you have any questions about the ID service which you have chosen, then please get in touch with the ID service provider themselves. You can get in touch with them through contact details provided [link here].
